Various hobby-based projects completed over the years covering a range of topics and interests.
Project Gallery
These projects were completed outside of academic or professional settings and reflect a special interest in mathematics, computer science, graphic design, and digital art.
Zenith
A text-based choose-your-own adventure game was created using Processing and written in Java. Gameplay involves being presented a prompt of the players current position as well as two options to choose that traverse through the world. The objective of the game is to to reach the top of Mount Zenith and defeat the final boss seated at the summit; along the way various side questions and boss fights will require precise navigation, skill, and wits.
Fractal Geometry Graphics
A highly detailed and deep zoom into the Mandelbrot set is animated and programmed using Processing (Java). A total of 10,000 iterations are used in each point calculation to create almost 200 frames of high resolution animation. A color map is applied to show to fractal nature of the set and the chaotic nature surrounding it.
Multibody Gravity Simulation
This animation used the Processing IDE and object-oriented programming to simulate the gravitational attraction of 30,000 point mass particles in a 2D plane. Euler's method was employed for trajectory calculations and temperature gradients were used to show the movement speed and conserved momentum.
